Klasse R8, Münsterschule Zwiefalten, Klassenlehrer Martin Hopf

Als Grundlage unseres Stuhles wurde ein eigenes Gedicht auf Englisch verfasst, dass die Besonderheiten, Sehenswürdigkeiten und Naturphänomene des uns zugeteilten Landes Jordanien in fünf Strophen mit je 4 Versen zusammenfasst. Das Gedicht wurde dann von Achtklässlern mittels Potch-Flüssigkeit auf Stuhlbeine und Sitzseitenflächen übertragen, Papierrückstände entfernt sowie mit Buntsand und Leim versucht, eine jordanische Dünenlandschaft auf der Rückenlehne zu skizzieren. Die auf dem Stuhl abgebildeten Strophen lauten wie folgt:

_{With history and culture to adore,}

_{From mountain high to desert low,}

_{A STARRY SKY– a nightly show}

_{Where once hid Nabatean’s golds}

_{A wonder of the world unfolds.}

_{Carved into rock a timeless game}

_{The rose-red city – PETRA’s fame}

_{Where Bedouins on camels roam,}

_{And stars illuminate their home.}

_{A landscape like you’ve never seen}

_{WADI RUM – a desert’s dream}

_{Healing waters soothe your soul,}

_{What natural wonder to behold.}

_{A place where buoyancy runs free,} 

_{Let loose & float on the DEAD SEA}

_{What wildlife, nature, history!}

_{From desert foxes, wild and free,}

_{To ibex on the mountains and}
